Simpleway provides a one-language announcement management system for the airport. The Simpleway solution aids in passenger communication through the utilisation of a locally built voice library keeping the messages in the dialect and accent of the region. In addition, the system also uses voices of more than 20 local celebrities to deliver airport operational announcements.
The Simpleway Application Server ties into a QSC system for announcement delivery. A data interface to the FIDS also allows audio announcements to be shown visually to assist passengers with disabilities in a form of visual paging.
Overall the solution increases the ability for customer service representatives, operations and airlines to communicate with passengers. The system provides announcements in a recognisable voice which assists in providing clear and intelligible announcements and ensures passengers receive up-to-date flight information, courtesy messages and security announcements.
